报告人简介:
Dr. Yu Xiao received her Bachelor degree of clinical medicine from Nanjing University of Traditional Medicine in 1995, then worked as an internal doctor at Suzhou Traditional Medical Hospital. In 2007, Dr. Yu received her M.D. and Ph.D. from Kagawa University, Japan, and undertook research work as a Research Assistant in Kagawa University. Afterwards she joined IBMS of Soochow University in 2008 and promoted to Associate Researcher in 2013. Dr. Yu has focused on lipoprotein metabolism, atherosclerosis and diabetes. Her previous reporter showed CaMKK/KIV cascade participated both in glucose upregulation of insulin gene( Diabetes 2004) and GLUT2 gene regulated by Exendin-4 (Metabolism 2011);SR-B1,as a HDL receptor, was reduced by angiotensinII or hyperglycemia, took part in the development of atherosclerosis(Hypertension 2007); SR-B1 also can be a possible HCV Receptor, decreased its expression by interferon alpha(GUT,2008). In addition to her research, she has been teaching Medical Immunology to the medical students at Soochow University.
